About The Project
Sun Sea Islands is a travel guide covering Sicily and Malta, built for a travel agency that wanted to offer visitors detailed, original content on the destinations they serve. The site covers over 20 locations organised by Sicilian province — from Ragusa and Siracusa to Palermo and Trapani — plus a dedicated section on Malta.
The project is built on WordPress with WPML for full bilingual support (English and Italian). We designed a content structure that works both for casual visitors looking for travel inspiration and for search engines, with each destination having its own dedicated page. The site includes interactive maps, photo galleries and a “What to do” section covering beaches, islands and natural parks.
