About The Project
Brains for Brain is an Italian non-profit Foundation dedicated to research on rare neurological diseases, particularly Lysosomal Storage Disorders affecting children. The foundation coordinates a network involving over 60 universities from more than 15 European countries, the United States, Australia and Brazil, working closely with BioTech and pharmaceutical companies, patient associations and professional organisations.
The website serves multiple audiences — researchers, physicians, patients and families, partner institutions and potential donors — each with distinct needs and expectations. We organised the content around these different user profiles, with dedicated resource sections for each group. The site includes a news area for research updates and event announcements, a partners section showcasing the foundation’s international collaborations, and an online donation system. A members-only reserved area provides restricted access to internal documentation and research materials.
